Jeff Ruland to Appear on Mike Wise Show - 106.7 FM

WASHINGTON, DC - University of the District of Columbia head men's basketball coach Jeff Ruland will be interviewed by Holden Kushner this afternoon at 12:30 p.m. during the Mike Wise Show on 106.7 FM radio.

Ruland has resurrected the UDC men's basketball program after a 1-20 season in 2009-10, and guided the Firebirds to a 21-3 record thus far this season and a No. 18 ranking in the Division II national poll.

A former NBA All-Star with the then Washington Bullets, Ruland came to UDC with over 30 years of playing and coaching experience, including nine seasons as head coach of his alma mater, Iona College. He has had four 20-win seasons in his head coaching career.
