WASHINGTON, DC - The University of the District of Columbia athletic department has released the latest Firebird Nation Sports Update, the university's official sports talk show. Hosted by Matt Rienzo, the July 2012 FNSU episode features Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance, Joe Lang and radio host and proud Firebird alum, James"Butch' McAdams.
Firebird Nation Sports Update features in-depth interviews and an inside look at the University of the District of Columbia athletics. In Rienzo's interview with Lang, the Georgetown and St. John's University Hall of Famer talks about Division II NCAA rules, the rise of the Firebird Athletic programs, and his experience as Athletic Director at Georgetown University.
Later in the program, Rienzo interviews McAdams for the Firebird Alumni Spotlight. A former Maret basketball coach, Washignton, DC basketball personality and current radio host, McAdams talks about growing up in Washington, DC, being a proud member of the Firebird alumni family, his coaching experiences, and his new radio talk show "In and Out of Sports."
