UDC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Head Coach Dickie Mahaffey Appointed to ITA Division II Operating Committee

TEMPE, AZ – University of the District of Columbia men's and women's tennis head coach Dickie Mahaffey was appointed to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Operating Committee.

Mahaffey, entering his 9th season as head coach of the UDC men's and women's tennis team, will be responsible for all tennis related governance for Division II. This includes championships policies, rankings, and rules, as well as serving as a voice for Division II coaches when the committee is communicating with the NCAA.

A three-time East Coast Conference Coach of the Year whose teams have garnered a combined four ITA All-Academic Team distinctions and four ECC Academic Team of Excellence Awards, Mahaffey will serve the role of representing the views of the NCAA Division II's East Region while also making decisions that impact all of Division II tennis.
