Bio

Kevin Bembridge joins the Firebirds Track & Field staff for the 2014-2015 season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach. Bembridge, who has extensive track & field coaching experience, will work with the Firebirds' sprinters, hurdlers and field event athletes.

Bembridge has coached high school track & field for the past five years, most recently with Dunbar High School in Washington, DC. Over that span, he has coached six All-Americans, 93 DCIAA winners, three DCIAA record-holders, three All-Met First-Team selections, and four DC Gatorade Athlete of the Year selections. He will now look to bring that success to the collegiate ranks.

Bembridge is a 2005 graduate of Howard University with a BS in Mathematics. He has received Level II certifications in sprints, hurdles, relay and jumps from the USATF.
