UDC Women’s Cross Country Competes in Delaware State Pre-Conference Run

SMYRNA, DE – The University of the District of Columbia women's cross country team competed in the Delaware State Pre-Conference Run 5K event on Fri., Oct. 5.

The Firebirds finished 4th of four teams (including three Division I schools) with a total time of 2:26:29 and an average time of 29:17.

Senior Dabrin Snorton was the top UDC finisher at 16th overall out of 27, as she crossed the finish at 26:23.2. Snorton, who has improved each time out this season, cut her time from two weeks ago by 30 seconds.

The rest of the eight Firebird finishers crossed the finish in a pack that lasted from the 28:06 mark to 34:16.

Next up, UDC will compete in the Bowie State University Challenge on Thurs., Oct. 11.
