The Firebirds head into this conference match up, coming off a tough 76-78 loss against Frostburg University on Friday. They were led by Jahmir Marable-Williams who posted his second double-double of the season off 14 points and 10 and assists and Michael Aiken who posted a game-high 20 points. Aiken rankes fourth in the conference with 15.9 PPG and is second in 3-point shooting. Marable-Williams leads the conference with 6.4 assists per game and is second with 1.9 steals per game. Micah Campbell, who was named Defensive Player of the week earlier on this season, leads the conference with 9 RPG and ranks fourth in the conference with 2 bloacks per game. He also leads in FG %, shooting the ball at 57.4% . UDC is currently 3-9 on the season and 1-2 in conference play. They opened up conference play with a close tough loss to nationally ranked St Thomas Aquinas College 78-83 at the end of November. UDC entered the 2022-23 season voted to place fourth in the ECC preseason poll. They finished 9-20 last season and made a first round post season appearance in the conference tournament.

The Saints fell to Notre Dame (Ohio) 57-83, in their last outing, falling to 3-9 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. Willie Kondrat leads the team with 6.3 RPG and is second in the conference with 16.8 PPG. Luke Theisen is also seventh in the conference with 14 PPG. D'Youville was voted to place 9th in the ECC preseason poll after finishing 2-26 last season. Their two conference wins this season comes from Queens College and Mercy College.
