BLOOMFIELD, NJ- the University of the District of Columbia's men's basketball team fell to Bloomfield College 94-68, Wednesday evening at the Bloomfield College Gymnasium.
Freshman point guard, Mikhai Arnold came off the bench to lead UDC with 14 points going 5-11 from the field and 4-7 from behind the arc. Elijah Crawford also scored in the double figures, scoring 8-10 points from the charity stripe while also pulling a team high seven rebounds. Micah Campbell made a team high three blocks.
The Firebirds struggled from the field shooting at 32.9% compared to the Bears 52.2%. Bloomfield pulled more rebounds (44-37) and despite having the same amount of turnovers (9) was able to convert those turnovers into 64 points compared to UDC's 52.
Up next, UDC(2-3) will head into conference play next Wednesday with a road trip against Queens College. The game is slated to begin at 7:30 pm.
