UDC Men’s Basketball Announces Key Additions for 2024-2025 Season
Washington, D.C. -The University of the District of Columbia men's basketball team is excited to announce the addition of several new players to the 2024-2025 roster. These talented student-athletes bring a variety of skills and experience that will strengthen the Firebirds as they prepare for a competitive season in the East Coast Conference (ECC).

Gene Anderson – 6'8" Freshman | Washington, D.C. (Lewis University, IL)
"Gene provides much-needed size and skill around the basket. Known for his work ethic and attitude, he has the potential to become a force on the boards and in the paint as he adapts to UDC's style of play," -Head Coach Mike Riley.

Khyrie Staten – 6'1" Junior | Baltimore, MD (Delaware State)
"Khyrie brings toughness, leadership, and versatility to the Firebirds. A capable lead guard who can also play the wing, he will be a key figure in the team's backcourt rotation with his ability to manage the offense and contribute defensively,"-Head Coach Mike Riley.

Stanley Harley – 6'0" Junior | Waldorf, MD (Murray State)
"Stanley is a quick, dynamic guard who excels at pushing the pace and running the offense. His speed and decision-making will help UDC in transition, and his defensive quickness will be valuable for disrupting opponents," -Head Coach Mike Riley.

Justin Minor – 6'6" Junior | Upper Marlboro, MD (Prince George CC)
"Justin is a versatile player who can guard multiple positions. Whether defending post players or quicker guards, Justin's ability to adjust makes him a crucial part of UDC's defense and rebounding efforts," -Head Coach Mike Riley.

Greg Williams – 6'5" Junior | Fairfax, VA (Southern Connecticut)
"Gregory brings perimeter shooting and size to the wing. A strong all-around player, he is capable of driving to the basket and shooting from distance, making him a dual-threat on offense," -Head Coach Mike Riley.
