Henry Earns ECC Second Team All-Conference Honors
WASHINGTON, D.C. – University of the District of Columbia men's lacrosse freshman Myles Henry has been named to the East Coast Conference Second Team All-Conference, recognizing his standout debut season for the Firebirds.
Henry appeared in 11 games, making nine starts, and quickly established himself as a key contributor on both ends of the field. He finished the season with 16 goals and 8 assists, totaling 24 points, while also making a significant defensive impact with 19 caused turnovers and 52 ground balls.
A three-time ECC Rookie of the Week selection and three-time Honor Roll honoree, Henry consistently produced throughout the season and emerged as one of the conference's top first-year players. He ranked among the top 10 in the ECC in caused turnovers per game, highlighting his ability to disrupt opposing offenses.
Henry's top offensive performance came in a matchup against Virginia State, where he recorded a season-high five goals, leading the Firebirds' attack.
Demonstrating his versatility, Henry stepped out of position in the final two games of the season to take faceoffs, going 11-for-26 at the X and providing valuable support in possession battles.
Henry's all-around performance and immediate impact were instrumental for the Firebirds and earned him recognition among the conference's top players.
