Axel Gamez Named ECC Rookie of the Week

WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Axel Gamez was named ECC Rookie of the Week for his performance last week.

Gamez had four points on a goal and two assists on the week. He scored his first collegiate goal in the away game against Molloy University. He then went on to assist the Firebirds two goals in their first conference win of the season.

UDC (5-4-1, 1-2 ECC) will host Mercy in another conference match up this Saturday at 1:00 PM.
