Firebirds Sweep Wildcats in ECC Season Series
WASHINGTON, DC- the University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team earned their fourth consecutive victory after defeating Daemen University 7-0, for the second time this season.
The Firebirds swept the doubles point, winning all three matches before going on to win six straight singles matches. The only three-set match came at the No.5 position where Juan Estevez Hernandez defeated his opponent in a match tiebreaker.
Up next, UDC (9-6, 3-2 ECC) is back in action tomorrow, traveling to West Chester University. The match is slated to begin at 1:00pm.
