Oskar Karos Repeats as ECC Elite 20 Award Winner
Flushing, N.Y. – For the second consecutive year, University of the District of Columbia men's tennis standout Oskar Karos has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Elite 20 Award recipient. The prestigious award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA competing in each ECC championship.
Karos, a senior standout both on the court and in the classroom, has continued to demonstrate excellence in all facets of student-athlete life at UDC. An Architecture major, he maintains an outstanding 3.92 GPA.
The ECC Elite 20 Award, modeled after the NCAA Elite 90 award, emphasizes the importance of academic achievement alongside athletic success. Karos' achievement highlights UDC's mission to develop well-rounded leaders ready to excel beyond college.
