UDC Drops Senior Day Matchup to Queens
FLUSHING, N.Y. – The University of the District of Columbia men's tennis team fell to Queens College, 7-0, in conference action.
Queens secured the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, along with a default at No. 3.
In singles play, the Knights maintained control across the lineup, claiming all six matches. Ambrose Evamy battled at the No. 2 spot, while Filippo Vatteroni put together a competitive first set at No. 3 before Queens pulled away.
The Firebirds will look to bounce back as they hit the road next Tuesday for a 2 p.m. matchup against West Chester.
