NEW ORLEANS- Due to his stellar 23rd place finish last weekend at the NCAA East Regional Cross Country Championship, senior Hillary Mugun (Accounting - Nandi Hills, Kenya/Meteite) was named to the All-Region Team.

This honor is given to the top 25 finishers in each of the eight regional sites. This recognition comes from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, which recognizes these elite runners at the end of the regional championship.

Mugun represented the East Coast Conference as its lone All-Region male runner while three female ECC runners earned All-Region.

Mugun, a former All-American at Indiana University of PA, fell just short of qualifying for the NCAA Division II National Meet on November 17th in Joplin, Missouri, but ended his career with a personal best 10K time at the NCAA Regional meet on November 4th.
