Big Basketball Day, Saturday, February 14

Women’s Basketball Senior Day. Saturday, February 14, 2009, 1 p.m.

Senior Day is the annual recognition of members of the team who are seniors and will be playing in their final home game for the University. Four student-athletes are seniors on the Women’s Team:

LaQuanda Brandon, Jessica Edwards, DeVaughn Hailey and Deyshia Williams

Breast Cancer Awareness Day

The Women’s Basketball Team will conduct it’s annual observance of this important effort to reduce and eliminate this disease. It is a part of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s annual campaign. Each person planning to attend the women’s basketball game is asked to wear pink to the game.

Cross-country and Track & Field Senior Day

The Men’s & Women’s Cross-country Teams and the Women’s Track & Field Teams will recognize their seniors during half-time of the men’s game . Five student-athletes will be honored:
