Ryles and Williams Earn Back-to-Back ECC Awards

WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Destiny Ryles and Tori Williams earn back-to-back ECC Player and Defensive Player of the Week Honors.

Ryles averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game in a 2-0 week for the Firebirds. In the win over  STAC, the UDC junior posted 21 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and one steal. In the win over Mercy, Ryles dropped 10 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and one steal.

Williams averaged a double-double on the week with 13.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game to go with 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals per game in a 2-0 ECC week. In the Firebirds' win over STAC, Williams had a game-high 12 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks before going off for a game-high 25 points alongside eight rebounds and one block in the win over Mercy.
