UDC Women's Tennis Remains Undefeated in Conference Play

BUFFALO, N.Y- The University of the District of Columbia's women's tennis team defeated D'Youville University 7-0, to remain undefeated in the conference. The Firebirds improved to 5-1, 3-0 in the ECC while the Saints fell to 1-6, 0-4.

UDC secured the doubles point at the No.2 position where Laura Marie and Célia Bastin blanked their opponents 6-0. 

Bastin, Claudia Bahamon and Valentina Brienza all blanked their opponents at the No.4, 5 and 6 spots. Bahamon's point secured the win for the Firebirds. This win secured UDC's spot in the ECC play-offs at the end of the month.

UDC will host both St Thomas Aquinas and Queens College next weekend to determine their tournament seeds.
