Shaw Earns ECC Field Athlete of the Week; Kouami and Cooper Named to Honor Roll

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The University of the District of Columbia women's indoor track & field program earned multiple conference honors as Zoe Shaw was named East Coast Conference Field Athlete of the Week, while Emmanuela Katou Kouami and Kayla Cooper were both selected to the ECC Honor Roll, the conference announced.

She won the high jump, clearing 1.60 meters, and followed with a first-place finish in the triple jump, posting a mark of 11.06 meters. Her success across both vertical and horizontal jumps highlighted her versatility and made her one of the meet's most dominant field athletes.

Kouami earned Honor Roll recognition after a commanding showing in the weight throw, where she captured first place with a mark of 16.71 meters, topping a field of 30 competitors. Her performance marked one of the strongest throws in the conference this week.

Cooper was also named to the Honor Roll following a strong multi-event outing. She claimed first place in the long jump and added a top-five finish in the 200 meters, crossing the line in 26.10 seconds, showcasing her ability to contribute at a high level in both sprint and field events.
