Elizabeth City, NC – The UDC Women's Volleyball Team traveled to Elizabeth City State University to take on the Vikings. The Firebirds returned home with a 3-0 loss, dropping to 8-14 on the season. The Vikings, who avenged a season opening loss to UDC on September 2nd, advance to 12-10 on the year.
The first set was very tight to the end, but ECSU was able to eventually pull out the win 25-23. The second set was all Vikings as they pulled ahead and won 25-19. The third set was well contested, but the Vikings proved to be too much for the Firebirds, winning 25-21.
UDC looks to get back on track on Thursday, October 13th as they take the court again at home against Virginia Union at 7:00 pm.
