Firebirds Compete at University of Delaware Invitational

NEWARK, DE- The University of the District of Columbia Women's Cross Country team raced this weekend at the University of Delaware Invitational.

Samantha Morrison led the Firebirds with a time of 24:34.9, placing 41/83 runners. She was followed by Yalix Lina at 26:21.3, Tukey Francis (28:47.6), Janel Baxter (28:48.1), and Kayla Cooper (28:48.4). 

The Firebirds will return to action at the Salisbury DonCart Invitational on September 27th, looking to build on their performance and continue lowering times.
