Senior guard Tim Ellison (TV Broadcasting-Alexandria, VA) has been nominated as the HSRN National Player of the Week.

Ellison led the Firebirds to their third straight win in the only outing last week.  UDC defeated Bloomfield College 109-106 behind his 26 points, seven rebounds, one assists and one block.  Ellison was 3 of 6 (50%) from three point range, 9 of 15 (60%) from two-point range and 5 of 6 (90%) from the free-throw line.
